The Book of Eli Movie – The Book of Eli is the most awaited movie this year. This is directed by Albert and Allen Hughes and written by Garry Whitta. Eli ( played by Denzel Washington) has been on a journey for 30 years, walking west across America after a cataclysmic war that turned the earth into a total wasteland. The world has become a lawless civilization where people must kill or be killed. The barren roads belong to gangs of cutthroats who rob and kill for water, a pair of shoes, a lighter, or just for fun. Eli is a peaceful man who only acts in self defense, and becomes a warrior with unbelievable killing skills when he is challenged. After the war and the “Big Flash”, Eli was guided by a higher power to a hidden book and given the task of protecting the book and taking it to its final destination. Eli guards the book with his life, because he knows that the book is the only hope that humanity has for its future.

The movie closes with the final words of Eli’s last prayer, saying he has completed his job, won the race, and kept the faith, as we see Solara starting up Eli’s iPod, and begin walking the road on the start of her own journey… to find her mother, and spread the word of hope that Eli brought; the words of hope for mankind’s future… and shepherd them to where they can learn of the hope they almost lost.

Humans are engaged in mining Pandora’s reserves of a precious mineral, called unobtanium, while the Na’vi—a race of indigenous humanoids—resist the colonists’ expansion, which threatens the continued existence of the Na’vi and the Pandoran ecosystem. The film’s title refers to the genetically engineered Na’vi bodies used by a few of the film’s human characters to interact with the Na’vi.

Vampire Diaries – Jeremy decides to return to his hobby of sketching fantasy creatures, that he had left upon the death of his parents. Logan attacks and kills several people throughout the town. Matt and Caroline continue to hang out together. He tells Tyler that he likes hanging out with Caroline. Sheriff Forbes tells Damon of a new recent attack, and he discovers Logan doesn’t know who turned him. Alaric helps with a small dispute among Jeremy, Tyler and Mayor Lockwood.

Logan kidnaps Caroline after a dispute with the sheriff, but Stefan and Damon save her. Logan tells Damon he knows of another way to resurrect Katherine. Elena tells Stefan that she loves him and he decides to stay in Mystic Falls. After Elena tells Stefan that she loves him, they go into Stefan’s house where they have sex. But when Stefan goes to get a drink for Elena, she discovers the photo of Katherine and leaves his house abruptly. She also leaves her vervain necklace behind with the photo of Katherine. Alaric confronts Logan and tells him to leave Jenna alone. Logan tries to attack him, but gets staked and dies. Elena is involved in a car crash while trying to avoid a man on the road, but the person just gets back up and snaps all his bones into place. The last shot is him stopping at the car and Elena screaming.

Ladies and gentlemen we are all waiting for the one of the biggest pageant event and show that most of us couldn’t wait to see. There will be 80 to 90 candidates from all over the world compete on beauty and knowledge of environmental issues, this is the Miss Earth 2009 Pageant. The main purpose of the event was to have its participants and winners promote and get involved in the preservation of the environment and the protection of Mother Earth. This year Miss Earth 2009 will be held in Boracay Ecovillage Resort and Convention. The said Resort is the biggest Convention Center in Boracay that is totally equipped to at par with convention centers in the country.

House of Wax - The movie begins with a scene set in 1974. A woman is boiling hot wax to make wax masks while her young son is eating his breakfast in a high chair. Suddenly the father comes in holding a near hysterical second son who is kicking and screaming wildly. The second child needs to be strapped down in his high chair due to his apparently violent nature, and is compared negatively to the other child.

The present. Six youngsters are on their way to a highly anticipated football game. Carly Jones (Elisha Cuthbert) is an ambitious young woman who is planning to move to New York. Her boyfriend Wade (Jared Padalecki) is a small-town boy who is hesitant about moving to the big city. They are joined on their trip by Carly’s friend Paige Edwards (Paris Hilton) who may be pregnant with her boyfriend Blake’s (Robert Ri’chard) child, although she hasn’t told him yet. Blake has invited Carly’s twin brother Nick Jones (Chad Michael Murray), a juvenile delinquent, to come along; Nick comments that their parents say Carly is the “good twin” and he is the “bad twin”. Nick has brought along his rather annoying and immature friend, Dalton Chapman (Jon Abrahams). When night falls the group decides to set up camp for the night in a field. The campsite is visited by a mysterious stranger in a truck who shines his lights at the campsite, but refuses to leave, speak, or turn off his lights. He all think of the revenge of his friend. Later, he me Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) an agent who stumbled upon a money trail linking several political murders to an underground network. Because of her investigation, she is now a target of the Ozunu Clan and Raizo saves her from the team of killers lead by the lethal Takeshi (Rick Yune).
